What will the parents wear?

Just when i could not think how Jessica of Beetle + Bloom could make our already amazing design any better she hit me with these bloom broaches and lapel pin for our parents! I nearly died when i saw this image...

Rings

Our Wedding bands!!! Thanks to another Etsy find! Titanium Knights, who i have to say has some really sophisticated designs had this number which we will be sporting together. Its a 4mm titanium band with 2 yellow gold inlay stripes. So yellow and gray, such a nice way to remember our special day! (he he, i couldn't help myself on that rhyme)

Hair Fascinators

You could only see the sheer happiness i felt when these three little boxes appeared at my desk today...
I Have to give a wonderful thank you to my new Etsy best friend Beetle + Bloom . Jessica Damyanovich the mastermind behind these creations is just amazing! She also made our wonderful boutonnieres! Take a look at her site. you will be amazed.

Shoes for the Girls.

I was looking through another blog about style, and came across this one from www.inthisinstance.com She did a whole post on yellow shoes. What do you think under your dresses?

Frye at ShopStyle

And also on ShopStyle, there is a nice variety of styles for yellow heels...

I found a few others on different sites that were also pretty cute...

{Stuart Weitzman, Ras , DKNYC }

For yellow, I am finding the cutest shoes as flats and often those are the hardest to find... so if you are looking for cute flats in yellow it is apparently a great season for you!

The dresses are in!!!

Don't they look amazing?! I will post Krista's later as i need to ask her to shoot a few of her in her dress!

Diva's Dress Choice.

So Diva, so cute!

Marcy's Amazing Dress!

OMG! Is what I thought when I saw this on her. Totally amazing, totally Marcy.

Kat is Ready!

So Kat found her dress today, after about dresses we fell in love with this lovely fully pleated top, very cute! It looks similar to Meghan's but it is quite different but since its in a dark colro you cant see the lovely details.

Meghan's Suprise Dress

The "Jessica Rabbit Dress" as it was coined with our WONDERFUL Suzanna from Rancho Cucamonga's Store (She really is the BEST). This number was a style that we kind of looked at and wondered if it would work. Let me tell you Meghan looked AMAZING!!!! This dress hugged in the right areas, hid the right places and held her comfortably. This is your dress!

Krista Has made up Her mind:

Krista was so happy to see that her dress was back into the pool that she scooped it right up. I do have to admit seeing Krista in this dress made me smile (And she was GLOWING!!!) Krista quotes "Of ALL the bridesmaid dresses I've worn,... this is BY FAR the one I felt most beautiful, confident, and comfortable in... I just felt so pretty. Very pretty and happy. :) I think it fits my style because of it's simplicity and romanticism. The first time I even saw it on your blog, my mouth dropped open and my heart began to race (just like any good man should do!! hehe)"

Krista... Its yours!

Thanks Meghan!

Meghan took a stab on the website and found this dress which is really cool.
Things I love:
1. The Asymmetrical bodice with pleats works well with all body types
2. The beading, oh so cute!!!

Thanks Meghan!

What do you think?

Some new ideas:

I have a few ideas pulled together, just in case... the first 2 are other styles that are similar and the nice thing with the picture is you can see 2 girls of different body types together. The 3rd picture shows one of the many combination of the separates collection. The final one was an idea of doing maybe a shorter dress, extra flow and really fun....

Another Tie!!!

So here we go again.... the proof is in the chart. I am going to think about what we should do... I see 2 options:

1. We go back and try on another set to see if we can all agree, i was actually thinking of doing the separates collection from Alfred Angelo? We could do the pick-up skirt with some different tops so that we can be all feeling good, or we can try on another dress style.

2. Art and I elope...

Just Kidding.

The Totals:

As you can see we have a total TIE!!!!!!! We have the Pick-up Skirt (the "red dress") and the A-line (the "Purple dress") So now is that hard part... I need you all to E-mail me with your vote of the 2 dresses and tell me which ONE is your favorite.

The Voting is In... Well Almost.

We have taken one of the 3 dresses off the list. It was the 2-tone dress on the last post. We are sitting on the following dress types, with their corresponding Ring Faerie dress.

Dress style 6495 (Pick-up Skirt) + Dress style 6473

Dress style 7016 (Chiffon Empire with Satin) + Dress style 6581

We're almost there! I'll post the final results soon.

Alfred Angelo Dresses

So its finally here! Meghan, Art and myself went over to Alfred Angelo (In Rancho Cucamonga) and worked with a fabulous woman named Suzana (Who is the best!) and we tried some of the dresses we were liking style wise....

Top Left (Style 6495) :
The Classic Pick-up dress. This one was quite nice, you can have straps put on (either full width or spaghetti) and it has a built in corset, Meghan liked this one because it had a nice shape when she put it on and it was quite comfortable.

Top Right (style 7016):
The flowy chiffon dress. Meghan loved this dress since it was also very supportive but it has the nice gathering of fabric in the front, this dress was very flattering!

Lower Left (Style 7017):
Flowy Chiffon with contrasting bow. This number was quite nice, though the store didn't have this in the size we wanted but we tried on a smaller size to see fit. This one is quite cute in the darker color (shown) we were trying on a reverse with the dress being yellow and the band being this darker persimmon color.

Lower Right (Style 6582):
The Ring Fareie dress! This one i LOVE so much, i hope that Ivy loves it too! i want to add some pretty flowers on the edge to give it a little cute factor (in yellow)

So the Girls have received the style numbers and are off to try these on and we will see if one gets chosen!

Celebrating a Memorable Day!

Art finally bought a new Mac so we are officially a Apple household (I am totally happy!) to permanently document how much we are growing together we had to take a picture.

Today was it... We Booked the church! and our Reception Site!!!!!!

And as a fun little tid bit our Rev. Ed Bacon has appeared on Oprah a few times, listen to his discussion regarding spirituality, its both enlightening and facinatting.

Tiny Little Dishes

What can top an edible spoon of Parmesan cracker dough is topped with a dollop of caviar and creme fraiche, accompanied by a shot of vodka? This is from Peter Callahan a wonderful caterer in NY. Wow this is my kind of deal. Also look at the tiny little pancakes!!!
